Position : Senior Executive Engineer (Structural Design), Construction

Job Description/Responsibilities :
Discussing the objectives, requirements and budget of a proposed project and consulting with other professionals about design
Obtain and assemble data to complete structural designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements a necessary
Making calculations about loads and stresses and selecting appropriate construction
Analysing configurations of the basic structural components of building or other structure
Calculating the pressure, stresses and strains that each component will experience from other parts of the structure due to human use or environmental pressure such as weather or earthquake
Ensure field implementation according to drawing through field visit. Give immediate decision to engineers. In case of complicated situation decision is given in consultation with supervisor
Working with geotechnical engineers to investigate ground conditions and analyse results of soil sample and in situ tests
Guide for making drawings, specifications and computer models of structures for project implementation
Inspecting properties to check conditions of different structural components like foundations, column, beam, slab etc. and examining structures at risk of collapse and advising how to improve their structural integrity, such as recommending removal or repair of defective parts or rebuilding the entire structure
Analysis MIS of construction department and prepare monthly MIS report for information of higher management
Educational Requirements:
B.Sc in Civil Engineering from any recognized university with minimum 2nd class/division or equivalent GPA / CGPA in all academic examinations. No 3rd class /division or below CGPA 2.50 is acceptable.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 5 years relevant experience and at least 3 years in structural design of multi storied building not less than 10 floors with basement.
